The police of Islamabad claimed they had discovered no proof that the ambassador’s daughter in Afghanistan had been kidnapped.
In Islamabad on Monday, Islamabad Qazi Inspector General (IGP) Jameelur Rehman stated in a news conference accompanied by foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and national security advisor Moeed Yusuf that the authorities had set up a number of teams to investigate the situation.
Najibullah Alikhil, the daughter of Afghanistan’s ambassador to Pakistan, has reportedly been abducted and mistreated in Islamabad last week by unidentified attackers.
