Ninth generation iPad with slimmer design expected this year

Over the years we’ve seen Apple’s iPad slowly move from its bulky frame and home button to a slightly slimmer, fully protected device. However, not all of Apple’s iPads see this design change, and one of them is the “regular” iPad, which is basically Apple’s entry-level model. In a Twitter post Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman tweeted that Apple will release the ninth generation ipad with a slimmer design later this year.

According to the latest episode of Power On, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has revealed that Apple could roll out an update later this year. Gurman claims that Apple will release the ninth generation iPad this fall, which will not only come with a faster processor but also a slimmer design.

The last time Apple updated the iPad was in 2020 when it came out with the A12 Bionic chipset. With the launch of the A14 Bionic in 2020, there’s no doubt that Apple can cut costs this way, and it also means that there could be an upgrade to the A13 or A14 for this year’s upgrade. .

As for the design, Gurman claims to be thinner, but we’re not sure if we’re considering the similar designs of the iPad Air. And iPad Pro or stick with the same design, but only thinner. Either way, if you’re looking for a new iPad starter, you can get one this fall, but for now, accept the berry’s claim.
