Nintendo denies reports that OLED switches will have higher profit margins

Nintendo has made an extraordinary announcement and has denied reports. The reports about the upcoming version of the nintendo OLED switch will have more benefits and profit than the regular model. The report, released by Bloomberg last week, speculated that the higher-quality components in OLED switches could cost an additional $10 each, according to analyst estimates.

“According to a news article published on July 15, 2021 (JST), earnings for the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) would grow in comparison to the Nintendo Switch,” Nintendo said in a statement. “In order to ensure a reasonable understanding of our investors and customers”. We would like to make it clear that these statements are false. Nintendo does not provide any information about nintendo oled profit margins on any of the Switch consoles.
The OLED switch is priced at $349.99, which is $50 more than the standard model. It has a 7-inch 720p OLED display, as well as doubled internal storage to 64GB. An Ethernet connector on the docking station, and a more flexible stand. If the estimates quoted by Bloomberg were correct, it would cost Nintendo up to $40 more than any model sold. But now the company claims it doesn’t.

“At this moment, Nintendo has no plans to offer any further models,” the company stated in a statement. Bloomberg has previously announced that the new version of the switch will not only have an OLED display, but also more powerful internal components and the ability to display 4K resolution using Nvidia’s DLSS technology.
