Azad Jammu and Kashmir‘s budget for the next fiscal year, with a total expenditure of over 141 billion rupees, was announced at the Legislative Assembly in Muzafarabad on Tuesday.
Minister of Finance AJK Dr. Najeeb Naqi presented the budget to the congregation, saying that the budget had allocated 113 billion rupees for underdevelopment and 28 billion rupees for development.
The development budget shows an increase of 14 percent compared to the end of the fiscal year.
ADP also includes 2 billion rupees as foreign funds. In addition, Rs.4 billion has been allocated for the ongoing Kashmir Ministry program. Of this amount, one billion rupees was provided for the welfare of Indian control shooters.
