David Beckham’s Netflix documentary is coming. The former England captain announced his upcoming documentary on social media.
It has never-before-seen video. The streaming behemoth has already enlisted the filmmakers and approved the logline.
The series will investigate Beckham’s “humble working-class beginnings in East London, and the ambition and perseverance that drove him to become one of the most recognizable athletes of all time.”
Fisher Stevens will co-direct with John Battsek. Editors Chris King (‘Senna’) and Bjorn Johnson (‘Bad Sport’) and cinematographer Tim Cragg (‘Billie’) are also involved.
