The Ministry of Interior has filed a motion with the National Accountability Bureau(NAB), requesting that its Lahore office be declared a “red zone” before the PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz arrives Friday.
Maryam Nawaz has been summoned by NAB on March 26 regarding the Chaudhri Sugar Factory case and the purchase of land in Raiwind.
According to sources, the Punjab Government’s Sub-Cabinet Law and Order Commission approved the declaration of the NAB bureau as a red zone at the time of Mariam’s appearance.

The NAB cited fears of a possible attack on their building on the day PML-N leaders are expected to emerge.
Sources said Punjab Rangers and police officers have given permission to be stationed at NAB and surrounding offices on March 25 and 26.
Punjab Justice Minister Raja Basharat said no one should take the law into their own hands and tough action would be taken against those who violate law and order and violate coronavirus security protocols.
