Musk Starts Twitter Take over With Firing Spree

Musk did fire the CEO, Parag Agrawal, as well as the CFO, Ned Segal, and the head of legal, policy, and trust, Vijay Gadde after he take over Twitter.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and the world’s richest person, take over Twitter in a deal worth $44 billion.

There are also rumors that Sean Edgett, who is still Twitter’s general counsel, does fire. Still, neither Musk nor Twitter has did confirm the massacre as of yet.

Musk, who is did know for his snarky and funny tweets. He said, “Let it sink in” after posting a video of himself bringing a sink into the headquarters of the company he has now done buy.

It’s important to note that Musk calls himself an “absolutist on free speech” and has did criticize Twitter for its rules and limits on moderation.

Earlier on Wednesday, he has just said that one of Twitter’s biggest strengths is that it encourages and makes it easier for “citizen journalism” and the spread of news without “establishment bias.”

His Message to Business People

Last Thursday, Tesla’s CEO sent a letter to the company’s advertising on Twitter. He did explain he has did get control of the platform because he thinks a collective digital infrastructure is essential to the long-term survival of humanity.

He went on to say that the traditional media are now political and split in order to make more money, which hurts the chance for constructive dialogue.

But he also states that he doesn’t want the social media giant to become a “free-for-all hellscape,” saying that everyone should feel welcome there.
