Miftah claims Fazlur Rehman and Shehbaaz Sharif will protest against the government on March 13

On Saturday, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, and other PDM core leaders will join a nationwide anti-government rally in Karachi’s Regal Chowk (Nov 13).

In a press conference at the Muslim League House in Karachi on Tuesday, Miftah Ismail, the PML-N Sindh secretary general, said. Kh Tariq Nazir, Nasiruddin Mehmood and other party leaders were also present.

Miftah blamed Prime Minister Imran Khan for “inflation” and “unprecedented price increases” and stated the country owed Rs40,000 billion. “The third most expensive country in the world” and “the most expensive city in Asia”, he remarked.

PTI administration is buying the world’s most costly LNG, PML-N leader said. “The PTI government acquired three times more LNG than the PML-N government, resulting in a $65 million loss in just one cargo”. He complained about high power and gas bills.

The PTI ministers are concentrating their time and resources on reducing inflation news, he noted. “By dreaming of one Pakistan, the PTI has created two Pakistans, where the people get poorer and the rich get richer,” he continued.

He blamed inflation on economic policy and the budget imbalance. The government should tell the public about IMF talks. “Ministers eying my earnings should alert the nation,” Miftah remarked. We are here if our leaders’ arrests cut inflation.

Former federal finance minister claims the rupee is being devalued. It was pushed back today. These are the dictators who lowered vehicle taxes and raised bicycle taxes”. He claimed the PML-N worked well in tax collecting but the current government’s tax collection policy has harmed the country’s economy.
