Microsoft Just Launched a Pair Of Xbox Branded Wireless Headphones

When it comes to headphones, Microsoft seems like an odd brand, but over the years the company has released various audio products such as wireless headphones and headphones. Now it looks like they’re back with Xbox Wireless new headphones, except these headphones were made for gaming.

Known as the Xbox Wireless Headset, these headphones were designed for gamers. It seems simple enough, but don’t let the simplicity fool you.

According to Microsoft, this headset is designed to use the Xbox wireless protocol. Which means it’s not just a simple pair of Bluetooth headsets.

It supports spatial audio technologies such as Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone: X. They help players receive beeps and sounds that will aid them while playing, eg. B. to hear the enemy’s footsteps from the corner and the direction they are coming.

The headset also has a beam forming microphone which helps improve voice communication, eg. B. Better speech isolation so there is no unnecessary recorded background noise.

Microsoft will release the Xbox Wireless headset on March 16. The price is a reasonable $ 99, although pre-orders are currently accepted.

Xbox wireless headphones last up to 15 hours on battery power, and you can play for about four hours on a USB-C charge for 30 minutes. It takes about three hours to fully charge.

Microsoft also updated the Xbox Accessories app, which includes equalizer controls, bass boost, auto-mute sensitivity, microphone monitoring, and brightness when the microphone is dimmed.
