MG5 Sedan Launched in Thailand

SAIC Motors has launched the MG5 sedan in Thailand under the concept “BEYOND,” aimed at a younger generation of consumers who choose sleeker and sportier sedans with coupe-inspired designs. According to the business, the MG5 has a big interior space, comprehensive convenience functions, and better driving performance that is assisted by a superior safety system.

The all-new MG5 is the newest vehicle to represent MG’s development philosophy, which is based on three fundamental principles: technology, modernity, and value. The new MG5 features a distinctive coupe-like design and body dimensions that are bigger than a conventional B-segment sedan, resulting in a roomy interior, comfortable seats, and a high and airy overhead space.

Soft-touch materials, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android mobile phone connectivity, a multi-function steering wheel, and a push start button distinguish the newly designed inside. Furthermore, the new MG5 has features and equipment similar to a C-segment sedan, such as 17-inch wheels, cruise control, a 7-inch digital display, 6 airbags, a 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, a sunroof, and a digital key with the clever i-SMART voice command system.

MG i-SMART intelligent technology allows the owner to communicate with the vehicle. It effortlessly monitors the automobile and activates car functions as required.

The new MG5 car is powered by a 1.5L gasoline engine with 114 horsepower and is mated to an 8-speed CVT automatic transmission. 4-wheel disc brakes, ABS with EBD, and BA are among the safety features. Driver assistance systems include a blind-spot warning system, a 3D surround vision camera, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability control (VSC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), and many more features.
