However, there was one particular trend that caught everyone’s attention – cats. Yes, you read that right. Several celebrities paid homage to Karl Lagerfeld’s beloved cat, Choupette, by dressing up as cats themselves.

Jared Leto, who is producing an upcoming biopic on Lagerfeld, stole the show by dressing up as an enormous fluffy, white, blue-eyed Burmese cat. Leto’s costume was not only a tribute to Choupette but also allowed him to indulge in his surrealist side.
Doja Cat, known for her quirky style, rolled up in a sparkly backless mermaid gown with a cat-eared hood. She even added feline prosthetics to her face and clawlike extensions, topping it with a diamond dangling from her hood.
While Alia Bhatt didn’t dress up as a cat, she paid tribute to Choupette by wearing a white dress with hues inspired by the late Lagerfeld’s beloved feline.
And, finally, rapper Lil Nas X, while not dressing up as a cat, responded to reporters with meows when asked about his feline-inspired look featuring silver body paint, pearls, and whiskers.
