He answered in an interview that the most unforgettable thing he had seen in fashion was Anna Wintour being carried down five flights of stairs by two bodyguards from a fashion show. Wintour didn’t appreciate his comments, and they have been in an open war ever since.
Actress Jameela Jamil openly expressed her opposition to this year’s theme of celebrating the late Karl Lagerfeld, who did some problematic things for which he never apologized. Given Wintour’s past record, it’s highly unlikely that Jamil will be making it to the invite list.
