Meghan Markle criticised for visiting school where she was ‘named Nutmeg’

One of Meghan Markle’s earlier interviews has surfaced online, drawing mockery. Meghan Markle visited her high school for the latest Archetype podcast.

In Los Angeles, the Duchess of Sussex talked about labels with graduates from Immaculate Heart High School.

According to the Daily Express, she compared their generation to freshmen.

Meghan said archetypes like “bitch” and “bossy” still shape teens’ perception and self-awareness.

“I wanted to study how labels and boxes affect young women’s self-identification,” she stated.

Her opponents quickly pointed out that she plays up the Catholic schoolgirl stereotype in her podcast.

They cited her Craig Ferguson interview. Meghan Markle told the old interviewer, “I was nicknamed Meg, Nutmeg.”

The actress seemed to think it was funny and flirty to joke that she’s crazy in the interview.

In her podcast, the Duchess of Sussex complained about being branded insane and nutty.
