Maulana Tariq Jameel Resumes work After Recovering From COVID-19

After well-known Maulana Tariq Jamil was quarantined last week, he tested negative for Covid-19 on Saturday.

With your prayers, my coronavirus test result is negative,” the famous Maulana Tariq Jamil said on Twitter. He called on the crowd to pray for his complete recovery from the deadly disease which has so far killed 9,250 people and infected more than 454,000 in the country.

On December 13, Maulana Tariq Jamil was admitted to the Rawalpindi Joint Military Hospital (CMH) after testing positive for the new coronavirus.

Jamil is one of the most popular Islamic scholars in the country and belongs to the Jamaat Tablegi. His lectures focus on the subject of self-purification, avoiding violence, obeying Allah’s commandments and following the path of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

From 2013 to 2019 he was named one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the world by the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought in Jordan.
