LAHORE: The PML-N on Thursday announced plans from party leaders to join the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) Gujranwala jalsa, The News reported.
Vice President Maryam Nawaz would lead a party gathering from her Jati Umra residence in Lahore and arrive in Gujranwala via GT Road with her supporters, party officials and leaders.
PML-N spokesman Marryum Aurangzeb said the PML-N chief would leave at 1:30 PM.
According to the plan, you will arrive in Thokar Niaz Beg from Jati Umra and go through Multan Road to Babu Sabu junction. Then you will reach Shahdara Mor by ring road to take GT Road.
Sources said a second option was to take the ring road from Raiwind Road and quickly reach Bhati Chowk on Ravi Road, from where it would turn into Shahdara Mor.
However, some insiders believe that Maryam and other PML-N leaders have already left Lahore and arrived in Gujranwala for fear of obstacles on their way to the city’s Jinnah Stadium.
