LAHORE: PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz says the government cannot win the war against the masses because the people support Nawaz Sharif and will soon get rid of this “incompetent and incompetent prime minister” after the protest campaign.
She told a private television station that the Imran Khan government would be sent to pack its bags before January after the Pakistan Democratic Movement protest campaign.
In the meantime, he also demanded the resignation of retired Lieutenant-General Asim Saleem Bajwa from the presidency of the CPEC.
“It is not enough to resign from the post of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting. Bajwa is also expected to step down as chairman of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. CPEC is a game-changer for Pakistan and an accused person should part ways with them, ”he told reporters in Model Town on Monday, where he had come to meet with party leaders and workers to review the Gujranwala rally on October 16.
In a statement, PML-N Information Secretary Marryum Aurangzeb said the entire town of Gujranwala and the population would attend the public meeting on October 16.
He said Imran Khan never had the power to hinder the PDM rally.
Responding to Imran’s statement, Marryum said the public meetings were a resolution of the Pakistani people frustrated by the “theft” of sugar, flour, medicine and fuel by this government’s “looters”.
“These public meetings are an outrage against the theft of his mandate and the desecration of the sanctity of his vote,” he said.
The former information minister said Imran’s remarks were a desperate effort to hide his shame.
“The Pakistani avalanche is ready to break down all barriers and express their will, they don’t need Imran’s permission. True leaders do not need Imran’s guidance or permission to make this happen, because all they need is love from their people, who already have more than the chosen prime minister can imagine ” , said Marryum.
