The magnificent vintage-inspired Harley-Davidson electric bikes will be available later this year

Serial 1, the electric bike business that Harley-Davidson announced over a year ago, will offer a “limited” number of the beautiful, vintage-inspired bikes that the firm had previously described as a “styling exercise,” according to the company.

The S1 Mosh/Tribute is a tribute to “Serial Number One,”. The moniker given to Harley-first Davidson’s known motorbike, which has produced in 1903 and known as “Serial Number One”. In the final product, the design features of the original prototype, such as the white tyres, leather saddle and handgrips and sleek black frame with gold lettering, have carried over from the prototype.

Even though it has a glossy black paint job and honey-colored leather embellishments. The bike is virtually identical to the Mosh/Cty model from Serial 1. It shares many of the same characteristics as the S1 Mosh/Cty, including a Gates Carbon Drive belt, a Brose mid-drive motor. It also includes TRP hydraulic disc brakes, cables and wiring that are internally routed, and integrated lights. Harley Davidson Electric Bikes are also available in black.

The white-toned Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres, as well as the leather saddle and matching leather grips. Which have both handcrafted by Brooks England, are unique to the Serial 1 motorcycle.
When Harley-Davidson refused to announce whether or not it would put the prototype into production back in October 2020, many potential buyers have dissatisfied. This news is sure to please many of those consumers. The fact that the firm is leaning on its motorcycle origins by focusing on unique one-offs. And limited runs is also a sign that the company is attempting to establish a brand identity. What is proving to be an extremely crowded and competitive sector.

BASED ON MOTORCYCLE ORIGIN, THE COMPANY FOCUSES ON EXCLUSIVES AND ONE-OFFS

The firm announced last month that it will auction off a series of special, one-of-a-kind e-bikes under the 1-OFF series brand name. With the Mosh/Chopper, which has inspired by the Schwinn Sting-Ray, serving as the inaugural offering in the series. (The winning offer was $14,200, which, wow, is quite the sum.) At the time, the firm stated that, similar to the motorcycle industry, customization and personalization. They will play a significant part in how Serial 1 thinks about the sorts of e-bikes it creates in its future products.

As product manager Aaron Frank said in a statement, the S1 Mosh will act as a “springboard to start our S1 Series”. Which will see even more unique and highly-desirable Serial 1 eBike variants in the future.

Harley-Davidson has stated that it will only produce 650 units. And half of those being available for purchase in the United States. And the other half being accessible in Europe. Customers who interested can place a pre-order on the firm’s website starting today. And deliveries have scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of this year, according to the company.
