Liaquat Ali Malik, Lower DIR District Police Officer, has been taken from the area since 44 Punjabi and Sindh students were robbed.
On the Chitral Route in Lower Dir Thursday, a bus load of tourists was stolen at a gun point.
There were 44 passengers on the coaster of Sindh and Punjab, including a guide, cook, driver and students. They travelled to the valley of Kumrat for vacations.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has taken note of the offence and has nominated Irfanullah Khan, Lower Dir’s new DPO.
The Ooch Police Station has lodged a FIR. The SHO claimed that the time of this act was broad daylight in the district.
