According to the media, both the Lionel Messi and club’s entourage have a clear understanding that the player will not train with the team until a new contract has signed. A deal is expecting to sign for the Joan Gamper Trophy game on August 8.
Although, Barcelona is optimistic about the situation with Lionel Messi.
Last week, Barcelona president Joan Laporto had asked about Messi’s new contract. Laporta said there is nothing to worry about and everything is going well.
Messi has previously offered a 10-year contract worth $293 million. According to the contract, Messi will spend two seasons at Camp Nou and two in American League. He will spend another six years as an ambassador or coach with FC.
