Lilly Singh stands with farmers of India

YouTuber Lilly Singh allowed her team to speak during the Grammy Awards in 2021 when she pledged support to protest against farmers in India.

Media figures are seen wearing face masks that boldly say, “I am with the farmers.”

The 32-year-old shared her appearance on Instagram, writing, “I know that photos/awards on the red carpet always get the most coverage. So this is the medium. Feel free to work with him. #IStandWithFarmers #GRAMMYs” she wrote on Instagram.

Earlier, Singh thanked pop star, Rihanna, for the support of Indian farmers who have protested three controversial agricultural laws for more than three months.

Rihanna’s tweet in February sparked a wave of support from protesting farmers from various figures, activists, and global politicians.

“Thank you @rihanna. This is a matter of humanity! #IStandWithFarmers and this story is tiring,” wrote Singh.
