Law admission Test announced by HEC for LLB

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) conducts the Law-LAT exam for applicants applying to a five-year undergraduate LLB program at HEC / PBC-recognized universities, public and private sector institutions and their associated authorized universities. HEC admission trials are carried out in the main cities of the country.

therefore, The HEC Law Admission Test will take place on 7 March 2021.

The deadline for submitting the Law Admission Test is 24 February 2021. Applications can be submitted online on the HEC website.

Who can apply for the HEC law admission exam?

Applicants who have passed the intermediate curriculum or equivalent can take the LAT test.


Candidates who have taken the final high school exam and are waiting for the results can take the exam.

So, Any changes to the test date will be reported via http://etc.hec.gov.pk.

however, Applicants applying through the HEC online application process will download their receipts each week before the test date from http://etc.hec.gov.pk.

As, roll number slip will be provided to the registered candidates.

Email / SMS will be sent to registered candidates regarding the date, time and place of the exam. Applicants must provide a valid email / mobile number when filling out the online application form.

A printed voucher with a roll number and original CNIC is required to enter the test center.

How to register for the HEC LAT test

If you have difficulty registering online, please email etc@hec.gov.pk or visit the HEC secretariat or regional advice centers.

Accordingly, as the policy value of the test fee is 500 / – must be deposited online / at an ATM or through a bank account at account 42 1742 7900 133401, account title: Higher Education Commission, bank: Habib Bank Limited, branch code: 1742

Applicants must submit a copy of the payment slip / bank account by courier or in person at room 212, 2nd floor, HRD building. HEC, H-8, Islamabad on or before the last registration date. Include your CNIC number on the back of the payment list / bank account.

The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The test will take place in major cities. Applicants can select any test center from the list on the application form.

keep this thing in mind that the test center will not be changed after registration.
The last date for online registration is 24 February 2021.
