Russia hopes that India and China would find a way to resolve the conflict in the Ladakh border region. It is said by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
During the briefing, the official said Moscow was monitoring the situation. We welcomed the agreement reached after a telephone conversation between the country’s foreign ministers on February 25.
“We respect the parties’ desire to advance this issue without foreign intervention [and] in the multilevel bilateral dialogue mechanism they have established. Also Russia hopes that the two countries find mutually acceptable peaceful ways to resolve tensions as quickly as possible in responsible manner for region’s peace, “said Zakharova.
