    The future of more than four million Punjab students is under threat. As, The educational board again postpones the announcement of exam schedules

    According to information, The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore, have yet to publish the matriculation sheets and intermediate examinations sheet.

    When asked for official comment, BISE Secretary Lahore expressed ignorance of the matter and said he had received additional fees from the secretary but was not aware of it.

    The secretary is officially in charge of the academic affairs of 500,000 students. The district secretary said “How we handled the cases after COVID-19”

    The province is running with the same neglect as it is the largest board of education. Apart from the Secretary, the President of BISE Dr. Mirza Habib Ali appointed for an additional charge as from the couple of week ago.

    During the previous administration period, BISE Lahore was trouble by irregularities and corruption. A fire broke out in July 2019 and damaged all documents. In addition, several members of the board are being investigated regarding the leakage of exam papers.

    According to the date announced by the Ministry of Education, the matriculation exam in Punjab will start on May 4 and the secondary exam on June 14.

    Sindh announcement regarding exams schedule

    Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said, “the Matric exam will take place in the month of July 1 till July 15”.

    Whereas, intermediate exams will take place in the month of July 28 to August 16.

    The exam of pre-primary to class eight will take place in the month of june.
