Janhvi said that her connection to Dharma Productions has made it easy for trolls to pick on her. She said this in an interview with Bollywood Life.
She continued by saying, “I suppose that comes with the fact that Dharma is such a legendary production house.” I have come to the realisation that, regardless of what other people think, the level of curiosity and reach that Dharma possesses, as well as the level of interest it piques in audiences, may be unrivalled. Indeed, it has not only increased the amount of strain on me but also turned me into a target that is easy to despise.
The actress continued by saying that she will never be able to forgive herself for her decision because the gifts that Dharma and Karan have bestowed upon her make her feel “unbelievably blessed and privileged.”
Janhvi shared that she has a tremendous amount of respect, and that more than anything else, it has bestowed upon her self-assurance, affection, and direction from a director such as Karan. In the meantime, Johar’s Dharma Productions was also in charge of making Janhvi’s third movie, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which came out after Dhadak.
