Marilyn Monroe’s things, including a father’s message, will be auctioned

Marilyn Monroe has ruled for decades. Even after 60 years, the starlet’s popularity hasn’t waned.

More than 175 of the late star’s personal items, like a letter from her estranged father Charles Stanley Gifford, are being sold at auction.

The undated, Monroe-addressed card is estimated to sell for $2,000 to $3,000.

The note stated, “This joyful little get-well note comes with loads of thoughts, wishes, and a prayer.”

This card is the sole known physical link between Gifford and his daughter, according to a People press release.

Gifford hand-delivered the card to Monroe in the hospital, according to a press release.

Other objects in the collection include lipstick tubes, fake eyelashes, eye shadows, Monroe’s clothes, photos, correspondence, her checkbook, and her SAG membership card.
