    UHS postponed medical exams until February 1 after students protested

    The University of Health Sciences (UHS) announced on Wednesday that it has postponed all MBBS and BDS exams until February 1, 2021.

    Days after medical students across the country protested on social media calling for exams to delay UHS, “the university replied that all professional and dental examinations had been postponed until February 1”.

    “The professional exam is postponed according to NCOC guidelines. The new test date will be announced soon.”

    UHS Vice Chancellor Javed Akram announced on Twitter that university examinations had been postponed, adding that a new date would be announced soon.

    All exams, including final year, were delayed by about 12 days.

    The new calendar will be announced tomorrow, he delivered,” My humble request to my dear students, please focus on your studies as I wish them all the best for the upcoming exams.”
