Despite misusing, govt won’t ban social media

Even though there are more and more cases of people misusing social media, Qamar Zaman Kaira, an advisor to the PM on Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan (GB). Recently he said that the govt has no plans to limit its use. Even though people are misusing it more and more, it is still widely will use.

He did talk at a press conference, where he said that lawlessness has no place in any kind of government. Whether it is authoritarian or democratic. At the meeting, it does talk about. Also, he said that the First Amendment’s guarantee of free speech doesn’t cover criticizing other people’s morality. It became said as a follow-up to what he had already said.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said earlier this year that cybercrime has now risen by 83% due to social media misusing.
