Future Samsung phones may not have any buttons

A Twitter user named “Connor” said that Samsung has plans to make phones in the future that lack physical buttons. Some concept phones have already done this. But the next generation of phones from Korean manufacturers may lack a power button or a volume rocker.

Huawei has also done work to hide the volume controls on the device’s sides, but the power button is still there. The Huawei Mate 30’s volume controls are all on icons that you can reach by touching the screen’s edges. Samsung phones, on the other hand, plan to get rid of all buttons in favor of software-based power and volume controls.

The changes will not affect the next S23 series. The Galaxy S25 is perhaps the first phone with no physical buttons. But based on how Samsung usually releases products. This series won’t come out for another two years. It could also appear on the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 smartphones.

There isn’t much we can tell you right now, but our source tells us that Samsung’s buttonless phones are only available to corporate clients. Phones for regular people will continue to use the old set of buttons.

People sometimes don’t like this change because they would rather use real buttons on their phones than virtual ones. Sometimes, software implementations miss inputs, which makes a simple feature vulnerable to flaws. Some people didn’t like how the virtual volume buttons on the Huawei Mate 30 didn’t work like real buttons.

There is still a chance that a lot of people will use Samsung’s system if it gets better enough to give accurate results.

But until more information is available, these details are then treated with some caution.
