Fiber Cuts Hurt the Telenor Network

Because of the problems with the Telenor Network in Pakistan. A large number of users can’t access a number of services.

In a statement posted on Twitter, the company said that the recent heavy rain and flash flooding have damaged the optical fiber networks in several parts of Sindh and central Punjab. The statement said this in detail.

Many optical fiber networks became broken because of the recent heavy rains. Flash floods in Central Punjab and parts of Sindh. We are very sorry and sad to have to deal with the fact that as a direct result of this. A large number of our customers will likely have service interruptions. Our operational team is working extra hours to get services back up and running as soon as possible.

Because of this, the message said, “Many of our customers may be experiencing service disruptions,” which was a cause for regret. The release, also said, “Our field team is working hard to get services back up and running as soon as possible”.

Some customers in different parts of Pakistan said that they had problems with the services. They were paying for it after the company tweeted about it.

A number of people in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi complained about service interruptions. It has been said that Telenor Network customers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan are also having service problems.
