Twitter v. Elon Musk trial begins October 17

The trial date for the Twitter lawsuit against Elon Musk in the Delaware Court of Chancery is already set, and we can now look forward to the trial proceedings. Twitter is also the one that brought a claim, Twitter is also the one that came with the claim. Twitter and the Elon Musk team agree on that trial date this week, but only if the experiment is complete within five days or fewer. From October 17 to October 21, the trial’s official schedule is in effect. Judge Kathaleen McCormick announced the schedule.

Everyone can now agree on one thing, and journalists can start planning their fall vacations in Delaware because the lawyers for each side initially start fighting over when the trial might start. Twitter lawyers wanted the trial to start in September, while Musk lawyers really want it to start in 2023. As if it is not hard enough to agree on how many bots are active on Twitter. How important it all is able to access firehose data.

Twitter should take action sooner rather than later since the company has already blamed Musk for creating uncertainty. Causing second-quarter 2022 earnings to be lower than the same time last year. Does anything else are on my radar?

Shareholders of Twitter will vote on the proposed acquisition at an emergency meeting set for September 13 at 1 PM Eastern Time (pdf). This kind of arrangement is also normal in the normal course of things. However, the rest of this agreement has been very strange.
