Apple will place ads in the App Store Today tab

MacRumors, 9to5Mac, and AppleInsider say that Apple likes to join ads on the app pages and on the “Today” tab of the App Store. The two new ad spots have decided┬áto make the App Store’s search page and search results bigger.

Ads appear in a small blue box below the app name or in card format, unlike most Today page content. On the app’s page, there will be ads under the heading “You May Also Like.” Ads on app pages are always color┬áblue to stand out from other ideas, similar to the App Store search results. Ad buyers can’t target individual apps, but the advertising is always appropriate to the app where they are showing.

Apple Search Ads can help developers of all sizes, according to a statement from the company. These new ad placements will only show content from approved App Store product pages. The same privacy rules apply as with our other advertising options. Soon, the company will start trying out new ways to advertise. Apple has turned down our request for more information.

Apple put ads in the search results for the App Store for the first time in 2016. And in September of that year, the company asked for permission to show customized ads. With the growth of Apple’s services division, ads may become a bigger part of the company’s plan to make money, as suggested by the new ads. In the new ads, there are also more annoying blue boxes.
