Facebook has added new tabs called Feed and Home. On the Feed tab, you can see the most recent posts from your friends, favorite pages, groups, and groups you are a part of. The app’s Home tab has also changed its name to reflect this.
Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder, and CEO of Facebook has said
You can see posts from your friends, groups, pages, and other places in the order they became made, as well as posts from other users. On the “Home” tab, our “discovery engine” will suggest things we think you’ll be most interested in. Click on the Feeds tab to change and customize your experience even more.
Home will show you reels, stories, and other things based on what you like. This tab has become a kind of “discovery engine” that helps people find new content creators. Artificial Intelligence (AI) will run the home tab and give users personalized suggestions.
If we’re talking about feeds, you’ll be able to see the most recent posts from the people and groups with whom you’re already connected. You won’t see any recommendations or ads when you open the feed tab. Using different filters is another way to sort the information. Using these criteria, you can find the newest information from your favorites, friends, pages, and other groups.
In the shortcut bar, you’ll be able to see the Facebook feed tabs. On iOS, the shortcut bar is at the bottom of the program, but on Android, it’s at the top. By “pinning” tabs, you can rearrange the ones you use most in the shortcut bar.
It looks like the new features are really cool since you can stay up-to-date with feeds and stay connected to new people and communities through Home. The newest changes will start to spread around the world next week.
