PSEB needs more resources to meet the IT export goal

He also said that the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) needs more money and more people in order to meet the goal set by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to increase the amount of IT that Pakistan exports. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif set this goal.

He said these things at the 52nd meeting of the PSEB Board of Directors. Which actually takes place today at the Ministry of IT and Telecommunications (MoITT).

Minister Haque says this framework is used to guide the PSEB efforts to export IT, as well as to make and carry out plans and programs. The PSEB will be in charge of both of these tasks. There are a lot of projects and programs assisting people to become more creative and using designs and manufacturers. These include the growth of physical infrastructure, human capital, and the skills of each business.

He said that the organization in charge of Pakistan’s IT industry gets the attention before it can do well on the world stage. 

The CEO of PSEB, Osman Nasir, spoke to the board of directors to give them an update on the organization. And talk about the different financial problems it is having. He also speaks about the new projects getting that let the IT industry right now.

At the meeting, everyone agreed that the Prime Minister should get the board’s recommendations and suggestions.

Mohsin Mushtaq Chandna, who is in charge of MOITT and is also an Additional Secretary, was at the meeting. Additional Secretaries of Finance and P@SHA, as well as the Chairman of P@SHA. The CEO of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan was also there (TDAP).
