The PTA says that the number of 3G and also 4G users in Pakistan will rise from 113.89 million at the end of May to 115.75 million by the end of June 2022.
Pakistan had 194.58 million mobile, 3G, and also 4G users at the end of June 2022, up from 193.29 million at the end of May 2022.
From May to June, cellular mobile teledensity went up by 0.83 percent per month. Going from 87 percent to 88 percent. By the end of June 2022, so the total teledensity will have gone up from 88.94% to 89.53%.
At the end of May 2022, 51.73 percent of people were using Monthly Next Generation Mobile Service (NGMS). At the end of June 2022, 52.55 percent of people also were using NGMS.
By the end of June, the total number of Jazz 3G subscribers had gone down by 0.121 million, from 6.068 million to 5.947 million. At the end of June, the number of people using Jazz 4G went from 37.168 million to 38.039 million.
Zong had 3.272 million 3G customers at the end of June. Which was down from 3.197 million at the end of May. On the other hand, it had 28.317 million 4G customers. Which was up from 28.906 million at the end of May.
Telenor’s 3G users dropped from 3.613 million in May to 3.542 million in June. But the company’s 4G users went from 21.496 million in May to 21.831 million by the end of June.
At the end of May, there were 3.576 million Ufone 3G subscribers. By the end of June, there were 3.509 million. According to the data, Ufone’s 4G subscribers went from 9.052 million at the end of May to 9.419 million at the end of June, an increase of 0.367 million.
