TikTok hopes to increase the number of small and medium-sized business that use its platform by starting a new project.
In the “Follow Me” six-week training course, business can learn how to promote themselves on TikTok. You can sign up for TikTok classes for free. They will teach you how to run a TikTok campaign and give you tips from companies that have done it before.
Because of TikTok, almost unknown businesses or goods have gone viral. A video of a restaurant visit has the same chance of being seen by millions as a video of a kitchen sponge. Small businesses often use TikTok as a way to market themselves. Some users have even used it to build their own online communities. With TikTok’s new courses, more companies that want to go viral might be able to learn how to become marketers.
Last few months, TikTok has added a number of new ways for content creators to make money with ads. In May, the company said that it would start giving some of its most popular content creators some of the money from ads. Just a few days, TikTok released Branded Mission, a feature that lets brands reach out to independent content creators. And also pay for the right to use some of their videos in their advertising campaigns.

Bloomberg says that TikTok made about $4 billion in sales last year, most of which came from advertising. For the foreseeable future, it’s likely to go up because the company is still building up its advertising infrastructure to compete with Google and Meta.
