Telcos raise prices again for call and data packages

The main reason mobile providers (Telcos) gave for raising call and data packages prices again was inflation. Pakistan Telecom Mobile Limited (Ufone), Jazz, and Telenor all raised prices on different deals and data packages.

Jazz let its subscribers know about the price increase, citing inflation and other costs of doing business. The company says that the weekly rate for Youtube & Social has gone up from Rs. 115 to Rs. 120 as of June 23. As of June 23, the weekly offer on WhatsApp has gone up from Rs. 21 to Rs.

Pakistan Telecom Mobile Limited and Telcos (Ufone) raise the prices of call and data packages, saying that inflation was to blame.

A message to the customers

The company said that it had to raise prices to keep up the quality of service in the face of inflation. UPower would go form costing Rs. 100 to Rs. 120. Starting June 29, 2022, the price increase comes with 1,000 SMS in the All In One (Option 1) Variant.

As of June 29, 2022, the price of a Super Card Plus, which is currently Rs. 649, has gone up to Rs. The price of Super Card Gold is currently Rs. 999, but it will go up to Rs. 1,099. On June 29, 2022, people will be able to add 100 Off-Net Minutes, 2GB Main Volume, and 2GB Social Volume (1GB FB and 1GB WA).

Telenor Pakistan says that the bundle prices have gone up. As of June 22, 2022, the price of an EasyCard 500 has gone up to Rs. 550. On June 29, 2022, the price of an EasyCard 650 will go up to Rs. 700. As of June 29, the price of the Monthly Social Pack Plus will be Rs. 100.
