Queen Elizabeth marked Father’s day by sharing photo of her late father King George

Father’s Day has observed by Queen Elizabeth II. This year’s occasion has marked with a throwback photo from Queen Elizabeth II with her father King George IV. It has taken in 1946 and the photograph shows the Queen Elizabeth as a young princess and her father.

The post’s description says, “Wishing all of our followers a very happy Father’s Day”. Meanwhile, on Instagram, Prince Charles and Camilla also sent a Father’s Day message.

“Happy Father’s Day to everyone!” This has written in conjunction with several photos showing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Charles with their respective fathers and their mother.

Also on Instagram, Kate Middleton and Prince William posted a photo of William with the couple’s three children. They captioned the photo, “Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to fathers and grandfathers all throughout the world today!”

The first Father’s Day following Prince Philip’s death in April 2021 has celebrated with a tribute to the late prince. The Queen’s official Instagram account at the time released a remarkable black-and-white flashback photo of the monarch.

Prince Charles and the Queen’s late husband Prince Philip all appear in the photograph. The three sat in silence as a statue of Charles II perched atop Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Whereas, their gazes fixed on him. The post’s caption stated, “To all dads around, we wish you a very happy Father’s Day.”
