Funeral prayers for Aamir Liaquat will be offered today

Aamir Liaquat Hussain, a well-known televangelist and member of the National Assembly (MNA), will have his funeral prayers offered today after Friday prayers, according to Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s ex-wife Syeda Bushra Iqbal.

The funeral of the Aamir Liaquat, who was 49 years old, would take place on the grounds of the shrine that is dedicated to Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi (RA).

Bushra made the announcement on Twitter that the prayers for the deceased person’s funeral will be held at two o’clock today following the prayers for Friday.

She went on to clarify that her son Ahmed Aamir and her daughter Dua-e-Aamir had both declined to consent to an autopsy being performed on their father.

On Thursday, the body of Liaquat, a disgruntled PTI MNA from Karachi’s NA-245 constituency, was discovered in the home he shared with his family in the Khudadad Colony area of the city.

He was discovered unresponsive at his house and transported to a private hospital, where the medical staff proclaimed him dead as soon as they received him.

A lot of influential people in show business, politics, and other fields have shared their grief and sorrow with his family and extended their sympathies to them.

Aamir Liaquat Hussain was born in July 1971, and he was elected as a Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan in the general election of 2002 on the ticket of the MQM from the NA-249 constituency. He was subsequently appointed as the Minister of State for Religious Affairs.

Aamir Liaquat Hussain served as the minister of state for Religious Affairs up until July 2007, when he was urged by his party to retire from both his position as a member of the National Assembly and from his role as minister of state for Religious Affairs. In the latter part of 2008, he was kicked out of MQM.
