Rana Sanaullah threat to arrest Imran Khan in Islamabad

On Sunday, the Minister of the Interior, Rana Sanaullah, made the announcement that former Prime Minister and current Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, will be arrested as soon as his pre-arrest bail expires.

In a statement that was released today, the Minister of the Interior of Pakistan said that he is pleased to hear that Imran Khan has returned to Islamabad and that he has been provided with protection in accordance with the law.

“Imran Khan is nominated as a suspect in more than two dozen cases pertaining to arson and vandalism,” he said, adding that he was also booked in cases related to carrying out armed attacks against the federation.

Rana Sanaullah made the warning that Imran Khan would be arrested by the same person who had been providing him with security as soon as the pre-arrest bail that Khan had gotten would run out. He expressed his frustration at the fact that a man who incited violence could lead a party.

Chairman Imran Khan is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad tomorrow, according to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry, who made the announcement yesterday. He continued by saying that the charter of the economy was a ridiculous idea.

According to Fawad, the Leader of the PTI would preside over an important meeting of the PTI core committee that would take place in Islamabad.

According to the previous Minister of Information, the current Minister of the Interior asserts that he would not permit Imran Khan to go from KPK to other provinces; nonetheless, Imran Khan is scheduled to be in the capital tomorrow. He urged that the Supreme Court take the threats made by the Minister of the Interior into consideration.

According to the leader of the PTI, the organization is not a militant party like the Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam (JUI-F), but rather it is a party of people from the middle class. He went on to say that the situation would be extremely serious if the nation’s largest federal party was forced to its breaking point.
