Queen Elizabeth celebrate her Platinum Jubilee with a new iconic portrait to commemorate her 70 years of throne. A new portrait has released by Buckingham Palace to mark the start of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. It will kick off with Trooping the Color on Thursday morning.
The new iconic portrait of the Queen Elizabeth features the monarch sitting in the Victoria Lobby at Windsor Castle. The Queen sits against the backdrop of the castle’s round tower and a statue of King Charles II. Along with the portrait, the Queen sent a message ahead of the big four-day event.
In a personal message, Monarch wrote, “Thanks to everyone who took part in bringing the community, family, neighbors and friends together to celebrate my Platinum Jubilee in the UK and across the British Commonwealth. I know that many wonderful memories will make at these events.”
The Queen added in her message that she looked forward to reflecting on the achievements of the past 70 years. She also added that she looked to the future with confidence and enthusiasm.
Earlier, the palace also shared a stunning portrait of the Queen to mark her 96th birthday. It has showed her posing next to her fallen pony. As for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, it has rumored that Prince Harry and Megan Markle have arrived in the UK with their children Archie Harrison and Lilibet Diana.
