Well-known mountaineer Ali Raza Sadpara passed away

Ali Raza Sadpara, a renowned Pakistani mountaineer, died of his injuries at the age of 56 in Skardu.

Ali Raza Sadpara was seriously injured after slipping off a mountain and falling into a ditch on May 17, after which he was shifted to Skardu District Hospital.

Ali Raza Sadpara’s spinal cord and ribs were broken due to the fall and there were deep wounds due to which he succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning.

Ali Raza Sadpara intends to climb the world’s second-highest peak ‘K2’ this summer. His funeral prayers will be offered in the village of Olding in Skardu.

Mountaineer Ali Raza started his career in 1986. He had the honor of climbing more than 8,000 meters high peaks of Pakistan 17 times, including 8,047 meters high peak Broad Pack, 8,035 meters high peak. Gashbaram II, 8,068 m high peak Gashbaram One and 8,125 m high Nanga Parbat.

He also climbed Baltoro Kangri, Sia Kangri, and Spantak peaks. Ali Raza Sadpara also trained the famous climbers Ali Sadpara, Hassan Sadpara, and other climbers.

On the demise of Ali Raza Sadpara, climbers, politicians, journalists, and members of civil society have expressed their condolences to the bereaved family and termed it a great loss in the field of mountaineering. They also appreciated the efforts of Sadpara.
