Salman Sufi selected as head of PMs Strategic Reforms

On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif named Salman Sufi, an expert in public policy, to the position of head of the Prime Minister’s Strategic Reforms.

According to a notification that was issued in this respect, he will step down from his responsibilities freely.

The Mother Mary Teresa Award was bestowed upon Salman Sufi in recognition of his expertise in the field of public policy.

The Punjab Women Protection Act, the Violence Against Women Centre, Women on Wheels, and Shehr-e-Khamoshan are just a few of the people-friendly initiatives that have been implemented as a result of Salman Sufi’s leadership.

In addition to that, he was the Director-General of the Strategic Reform Unit under Shehbaz Sharif’s administration as Chief Minister of Punjab.

In addition to receiving the Vital Voices Award, Sufi was recognized as one of the top five women’s rights advocates around the entire globe. This recognition came from multiple sources, including the administration of the current US President, Joe Biden.

In addition, the administration has given instructions to all ministries, mandating that they make every effort to successfully implement the Prime Minister’s reform plan.
