Earthquake of 5.3 Magnitude felt in parts of KP, Islamabad today

Today (Tuesday), some areas of Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan that are adjacent to each other were shaken by an earthquake that measured 5.3 on the Richter scale.

It was confirmed by the National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) that earthquakes were felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, Manshera, and Khuzdar in addition to other neighboring places.

It was established that the earthquake’s epicenter was about 82 kilometers below the surface and that it was centered in the Hindukush region.

There have been no reports of casualties up to this far.
