Workers’ strike is expected to disrupt the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities

The RMT has faced anger for announcing a strike to disrupt Queen Elizabeth‘s Platinum Jubilee festivities. According to a royal biographer, the behaviour is absolutely unacceptable and they should terminated.

The RMT has published the statement in its entirety. They said, “if no action has taken against a bullying management, Tube workers will start strike action on June 3 at Euston and Green Park stations.”

It has been years of harassment and abuse for RMT union members at both stations. They also faced unfair sackings of colleagues by an abusive management. It will be a 24 hours strike on June 3 that may disrupt the Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

Workers at Euston and Green Park tube stations have endured years of abuse and intimidation from a management. No local representatives will allowed to be part of a review of dismissals at the stations. It has initiated by the manager in issue, after the union sought in vain to reason with management.

People planning to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee will severely inconvenienced if they go on strike on June 3. This problem may resolve. Provided the tube bosses do the right thing and deal with the manager in question responsibly.
