Sources told that Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar signed an open-ended contract with Disney+ Hotstar for their upcoming project Selfiee. It includes two deals. One for a direct digital premiere followed by a television premiere for a handsome amount, and the other for a four-week gap between theatrical and digital release.
Akshay and Karan both want to bring Selfiee to the Dharma office for the Christmas week. However, the place has already packed, thus the OTT discussion has returned. The only justification for an open-ended contract is to protect the parties’ financial interests in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
