Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, has issued an order to all of the provinces to reach their wheat procurement goal.
According to the facts, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his anger over the fact that the provinces have not been able to meet the targets they set for the procurement of wheat.
Regarding the acquisition of wheat, the prime minister stated that the people could not be put in any scenario and that any shortcomings in this regard would not be permitted. He added that this was a non-negotiable point.
At this time, the prime minister gave instructions to the food minister to establish an emergency committee for the expeditious and transparent distribution of imported wheat throughout the provinces.
The Prime Minister promised that the federal government would make wheat available at reduced prices and provide any and all assistance that was required.
In this particular instance, the Prime Minister issued a directive to the provinces instructing them to meet the wheat procurement targets by the 1st of June.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called an important meeting of the coalition parties for today in order to deal with the current political and economic situation of the country. During this meeting, they will also discuss strategies to combat Imran Khan’s long march and the rallies against the current government.
