Pakistan mourns the death of the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed

According to a statement that was released on Friday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, both the government and the people of Pakistan have expressed their profound grief and sorrow upon hearing the death news of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to the statement, the United Arab Emirates has suffered the loss of a leader with exceptional vision, and the people of Pakistan have suffered the loss of a loyal friend.

Sheikh Khalifa’s visionary leadership propelled the Pakistanā€“United Arab Emirates (UAE) relationship to previously uncharted heights. The compassion he showed and the support he provided the Pakistani people in times of need will live on in their memory forever.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed was an instrumental figure in the expansion and modernization of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). His leadership and vision were essential to the United Arab Emirates’ rise to prominence as a major economic powerhouse, and he will be remembered throughout history for his outstanding contributions to the advancement of humanitarian causes and the cause of world peace.

“During this time of sorrow, we want the Al-Nahyan family and all of our Emirati brothers and sisters to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them. I pray that Allah gives them the fortitude and strength to face the irreparable loss they have suffered “the continuation of the statement said.

The government of Pakistan has declared May 13-15, 2022, to be national days of mourning in solidarity with the friendly people of the UAE. During the period of mourning, the national flag must also be flown at a height of half-mast.
