Rana Sanaullah, the Minister of the Interior in Pakistan, has stated that Imran Khan will not be able to gather even 20 people in Islamabad PTI long march against the will of the government.
Rana Sanaullah, a veteran member of the PML-N and the current Interior Minister, is quoted as saying that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf claims to gather 2 million people for their Azadi March, but that they will not be able to gather 20,000, or even 20 people, in Islamabad without the will of the government. According to the details, Rana Sanaullah made this statement.
The Minister of the Interior Rana Sanaullah further stated that the cabinet will determine the policy on the PTI long march and that he will only be responsible for enforcing that policy. Rana Sanaullah continued by saying that it is not within her purview to be either lenient or strict in regard to the march.
The federal cabinet is responsible for determining how the March will be handled, and he went on to say that the PTI is capable of gathering up to 20,000 people in the capital if the government makes a decision.
It is important to take into account that Chairman of the PTI Imran Khan has stated that he will call for a march on Islamabad if the government does not announce new elections by May 20.
On the 10th of May, Imran Khan addressed a public gathering in Jehlum, where he made the assertion that his call would inspire over 2.5 million people to march toward Islamabad.
