Govt warns PTI of consequences if they create trouble during long march

In a warning to the PTI, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah stated on Saturday that if PTI intends to cause disruption during the long march, he will not allow them to leave their house till the situation is resolved.

During a press conference outside the Lahore district and sessions court, Sanaullah attacked former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, accusing him of “inciting” and “misleading” the public against the existing government.

He cautioned that if he [Imran Khan] does not abandon these tactics and does not stop pushing his fans to disrespect members of other political parties, he will suffer the same fate as the other party’s representatives. “You’re not going to be able to get away from it,” he stated.

They would also urge their workers to “catch and beat them up” if Imran Khan didn’t change his methods, he continued to say.

According to him, “They [the supporters] will transform into human beings after a few thrashings.” He also stated that the PTI should convince the government that the march would be peaceful, political, and democratic.
