During a recent phone conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Defense Minister Mohammed bin Salman confirmed their intention to collaborate in order to strengthen connections between their respective countries.
The Prime Minister Shehbaz made a phone call to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to express his best wishes and congratulations on the auspicious occasion of Eidul Fitr, which is celebrated in Saudi Arabia.
The Custodian of the two holy mosques received Sharif’s good wishes as well as Eid greetings, which he sent along with them.
Speaking of the Crown Prince during his recent visit to the Kingdom, which took place between April 28 and May 1, 2022, Sharif expressed Pakistan’s desire to further strengthen historic fraternal ties with Saudi Arabia and elevate the strategic relationship between the two nations in all spheres.
The Prime Minister also reaffirmed his absolute commitment to putting into effect the decisions reached during his recent meeting with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Both leaders emphasised the necessity of following through on the understandings established during the visit with their respective organizations.
Sharif conveyed his appreciation to the Saudi leadership and administration for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him during his visit.
The Crown Prince expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister for his Eid greetings and extended his greetings and best wishes to the people of Pakistan.
